My STORY
Welcome to EARTH Heart Designs
The word EARTH and HEARTS both have the same letters in them.
Read that again….
Cool hey!! It’s one of those things that was right in front of you all along and didn’t notice.
But of course, it makes perfect sense …. Because our EARTH is of LOVE and LOVE is shown in HEARTS.
What a perfect name for something that I am passionate about! I am also personally an Earth element so it doesn’t surprise me that this name spoke to me.
My Oma loved Bleeding Heart bushes and had a magical story about a fairy being part of the flower that I still tell children today. She is such an inspiration to me and I wanted to honor her so I used the beautiful bleeding heart.

Hi there. My name is Krista Phillips and I live in the beautiful community of Okotoks in the Foothills of Alberta. I have lived in Okotoks for 12 years but I was born and grew up in Calgary. I have 2 boys ages 17 and 20. And two great kitties. I have worked with children for 37 years in a multitude of capacities. They are my primary passion. My other passion is our MOTHER. Mother Nature or Mother Earth to be exact.
I started collecting rocks as a young child. Always drawn to the river banks. Drawn to nature and all She has to offer. Laying in the grass, collecting odd shaped rocks and sticks, hearing the water trickling by, watching the changing shapes of the clouds, playing with the soft, spongy moss, smelling and absorbing the green, listening to the tweets and twitters of the birds….
Once I moved to Okotoks in 2008 I found the beautiful Sheep River and I couldn’t stay away. Not only because she is so beautiful but because she started giving me a gift. Heart rocks. Every time I went to the river, I found more and more Heart rocks. It was so magical! I started going more and more and collecting them. Thanking Mother Earth for her gift. Soon it became a game to see how many I would find…or how many found me… and now I have over 500 Heart rocks and I love them all so very much!
Each one is so unique and special. And that’s why I’d like to share the love…and give some of that to you…!
